Silken Chenille - 100% silk. A beautiful 'flat' chenille rather than a 'round' chenille, hand dyed in a range of beautiful solids and multi-colors. As chenille can be a 'tender' thread, especially at the eye of the needle we suggest stitching with shorter lengths (about 18"). Surface embroidery techniques such as spider web roses, straight outline stitches around wool applique, or straight stitches on needlepoint or linen are best suited to this thread. Skeins are 20 yards. |
